Our company
Böllis® is a brand of the agricultural company Bernd Bösing, your partner in agriculture and industry from Vreden in Münsterland / Germany. We have made it our mission to use natural resources sparingly and to close cycles sensibly and sustainably. Many years of experience and expertise in the animal feed trade, the production of our own products and our own fleet of vehicles enable us to produce our Böllis® in top quality and to deliver them quickly, flexibly and reliably throughout Germany and internationally.

Straw harvesting
We source the straw for our Böllis® regionally. We only use the latest technology for harvesting. With the help of our belt rake, we avoid stones and impurities in the straw. The straw is picked up with a pick-up and transported by belts in a loose swath. In contrast to conventional rakes, where the straw is pulled over the ground, this avoids possible contamination from sand and stones.
The straw can then be baled directly in the field with our Böllinator. Alternatively, we bale the straw with our BigPack 1290 HDP VC square baler and store it dry in our warehouse for later pelleting.
We are proud of the fact that we can carry out this process in full ourselves. This enables us to produce Böllis® of the highest quality all year round.

Our “Böllinator”
Our baler can pick up the harvested material directly in the field using a pick-up or in stationary operation using a bale breaker. In contrast to conventional pelleting systems, the harvested material is not cut or ground, which preserves the structure of the straw. The material is pressed into a pellet using only pressure and friction, creating temperatures of 70-90 °C that kill germs and bacteria.
The pelleting process opens the cells of the straw, making the Böllis® more absorbent and able to bind ammonia odors. Another positive effect of breaking up the lignin layer is that the manure produced from the Böllis® decomposes very quickly in the soil or in the biogas plant.

Böllis® for horses
Our structured straw pellets are the perfect bedding for the horse box. The Böllis® are gentle on the hoof, very economical and practical to use.
Böllis® for cattle
Our straw pellets can be used for automated bedding. Regardless of whether it’s for a pedal manure barn, deep stall or calf igloos – with our Böllis® we provide you with the perfect bedding material. With Böllis®, your cattle stay dry, joints are protected, bacterial pressure is reduced and udder health is promoted.
Böllis® for pigs
Roughage, bedding and activity material in one product! In the interests of animal welfare, our straw pellets stimulate the pigs’ natural exploratory behavior and at the same time ensure optimum roughage supplementation.
Böllis® for poultry
Böllis® textured pellets have high absorbency, are virtually germ-free and are perfect for pecking due to their rich texture. They are flexible and therefore provide the right litter and the perfect activity material for poultry.
